This was the first video I made for CTV and where I began my journey into learning video production. I worked with CTV's News crew and met deadlines to help create A structured live broadcast. I'm proud to say I worked with a team to win TV station of the year!
This was my second Package for CTV. Proably the most challenging expierence, reporting on such an important week acknowledging a historical tragedy. This project had multiple technical difficulties I had to work throgh such as losing the audio of an entire interview and there was importance on respecting the privacy of jewish students who wished to not be filmed. Overall im proud of how the package turned out and the journalistic values I learned.
I stepped out of my comfort zone, when the opertunity to volenteer on desk came up. At this point I had only worked as an mmj for 2 and a half months and was eager to persue everything CTV had to offer. This was a big step for me personally and helped me become more comfortable on camera.
This project was particularly challenging due to the short turnaround time I had. I had been hoping to cover a different story but the event was cancled due to weather 4 days before I was expected to have a package ready. Im proud that I was able to produce this package on time and tell a decent story about cannabis for 4/20.
